Precious Felder Gates, Attorney and Managing Owner
The Founder and Managing Owner of The Law Offices of Precious Felder, LLC is an Atlanta native who founded Precious Felder, LLC to provide effective, high-quality legal counsel that would achieve the unique objectives of each individual type of client. Clients often want close contact with their lawyer. Precious prides herself on being an attentive listener and providing consistent communication to her clients. She works closely with her clients in developing practical solutions to ensure the best possible outcome for their case.
Precious received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Georgia State University and her Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. After working for a small boutique civil litigation firm, Precious started The Law Offices of Precious Felder, LLC immediately out of law school. She has represented a variety of clients in the areas of family law, entertainment, criminal defense and personal injury. She is an experienced litigator and in 2015, established her first multimillion-dollar jury verdict. Her practice has achieved six-figure Personal Injury settlements. She has established numerous dismissals, acquittals and favorable outcomes for her clients accused of criminal offenses, both misdemeanors and felonies. Precious is passionate for her family law clients and heavily experienced in divorce, custody and child support actions. For her entertainment clients, she has negotiated six-figure deals in both music and TV/film. She provides aggressive, zealous advocacy to obtain her client’s full satisfaction.
Precious is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association, the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and the Gate City Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before the Georgia state courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
In her free time, she enjoys live music, having been a member of the orchestra in college playing the bassoon. She is the mother of two beautiful girls and devotes her life to her family. Precious prides herself on being personable and relatable to all of her clients.
Rachael Anderson, Legal Assistant
Rachael Anderson formally Rachael Blackmon was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and raised about 20 minutes from Indianapolis in Anderson, Indiana. During her elementary studies she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she completed high School at Frederick Douglass High School graduating with honors in the top 20% of her class. Rachael continued her education at DeKalb Technical College where she majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Homeland Security. During her tenure there she founded the Criminal Justice Club where she served as the President and was a member of the Student Government Association (SGA) where she served as the Chair for the Student Activities Volunteer Extraordinaire (SAVE) as well as starting the school wide annual winter coat drive. Rachael graduated with her Associates of Applied Science degree with honors. Rachael continued her education at Georgia State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. During her tenure at Georgia State Rachael was a part of the NAACP, and Pre-law Club. Rachael also taught Basic Math Concepts for her Church‘s General Education Development Program (G.E.D.) for two years in her spare time as well as interned at the law firm of Dennis Scheib and Associates. There she assisted on various cases to include major criminal cases as well as misdemeanor cases. Rachael also began contracting for other law offices that practices criminal law, personal injury, family Law, as well as civil litigation matters. Rachael has worked in the legal field for over five years as a legal assistant, paralegal, and case manager. She also has experience as an office manager, receptionist, as well a tax preparer.
In 2013 Rachael married her college sweetheart and in 2016 the couple welcomed their first child. Rachael is currently working toward attending law school and hopes to practice law. In her spare time, Rachael loves to do arts and crafts projects, has a strong interest in computers, mentors high school students, works with various community programs for children, and also enjoys DIY projects for the home.
